Welcome to Erhythm. By using our platform at erhythm.org, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may register using email/password or through a social login provider (Google, Facebook).
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Erhythm.

2. User Content

You retain ownership of the rhythms and content you create on Erhythm. By publishing content on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and make your content available to other users as part of the service.

• You are responsible for the content you create and share.
• Do not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
• We may remove content that violates these terms.

3. Forking & Sharing

Erhythm allows users to fork (create a copy of) public rhythms. When you make a rhythm public, you acknowledge that other users may fork it. Forked rhythms credit the original creator.

4. Support Donations

• Donations made through the Support page are voluntary and processed via PayPal.
• Donations are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
• Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through PayPal.
• Donations help keep Erhythm free and are not payments for specific features or services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the platform
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

6. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon deletion, your profile and avatar are removed. Your published rhythms may be retained in anonymized form.

7. Privacy

Your use of Erhythm is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The Erhythm platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the creator of Erhythm. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform itself without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Erhythm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or free from errors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erhythm and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
